Configuring your headset via the Meta Mobile Application
Connect and prepare your headset before downloading FAST XR
Before you can install FAST XR, you must first configure your Meta Quest 3 headset via the the official mobile application. This step is indispensable for activate your headset and access the application shop.

⚙️ Configuration steps

Create or log in to your Meta account
Open the application and log in with an existing Meta account, or create a new one. This account will be linked to your headset and your application purchases.

Switch on your Meta Quest 3 headset
Press and hold the power button on the right-hand side of the headset for 3 seconds. A white LED will light up to indicate that the headphones are switched on.

Pair your headphones with the mobile app
In the Meta Quest application, tap on "Devices" then "Add a new headset". Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your Quest 3 via Bluetooth.

Connect the headset to your Wi-Fi network
Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your password. A stable connection is required to download FAST XR and updates.

Configure your playing area (Keeper)
Put on your helmet and follow the instructions to draw the boundaries of your training area. Make sure you have at least 2m x 2m of free space for the best experience.

Keep your phone close to the headset throughout the configuration. Make sure that Bluetooth is activated on your phone.

Download FAST XR on Meta Quest
Install the training application on your helmet
Once your headset is configured, you can download FAST XR directly from the Meta Horizon Store. Installation is quick and easy.

Put on your headphones and access the library
Switch on your Meta Quest 3, then access your library of applications by clicking on the corresponding icon in the toolbar.

Open the Horizon Store
On your main toolbar, click on the shop icon (bag symbol) to access the Meta Horizon Store.

Search for "FAST XR - Fire Immersive Trainer"
Use the search bar and type "FAST XR" or "Fire Immersive Trainer". The IMMERGENCE Studio application will appear in the results.

Install the application
Click on the FAST XR file, then on the "Install". The application (~2 GB) will download automatically to your headset.

Wait for the download to finish
The download time depends on your Internet connection. Once finished, FAST XR will appear in your application library.
Direct access to the Meta Horizon Store
Click on the button opposite to open the FAST XR page in the Meta Store.
Alternative: Installation via the Mobile Application
You can also install FAST XR from the Meta Quest app on your phone. The app will automatically download to your headset when it is switched on and connected to Wi-Fi.

Put on your headphones and access the library
Switch on your Meta Quest 3, then access your library of applications by clicking on the corresponding icon in the toolbar.

Launch FAST XR - Fire Immersive Trainer
Find the FAST XR application in your library and click on it to launch it. The training environment will load automatically.

Activate your licence
On first launch, enter your licence code (received by email after purchase) to activate the application and unlock all the training scenarios.

Choose your training method
Select from the different scenarios available: office fire, kitchen fire, industrial fire, etc. Follow the on-screen instructions to learn life-saving gestures.

Use the increased extinguisher (optional)
If you have the augmented fire extinguisher pack, simply insert your Meta Quest 3 controllers into the holder. This realistic accessory lets you reproduce authentic fire extinguisher handling gestures for maximum immersion.
