FAST XR is preparing to take a new step forward in the immersive fire training. For several years now, this solution has revolutionised fire safety training by combining augmented reality, real material and advanced pedagogical interactions.
Developed by Immergence Studio, FAST XR can already be used to design customised scenarios, to handle real increased fire extinguishers, and reproduce real-life emergency situations.
With FAST XR, trainers can create their own exercises, adapt the environments to their needs and develop their trainees at the heart of a dynamic simulation.
Participants develop their reflexes, their coordination and their ability to react to a fire outbreak, without any real danger. This immersive approach guarantees better learning retention and optimum preparation for emergency situations.
The next update of FAST XR introduces a major innovation: the scenarios become even more lively, natural and intuitive.
The virtual avatars in the scenarios will now be able to react to your instructions and to events on stage. This will enable trainers to carry out exercises that are more complete, more fluid and closer to human behaviour - including the evacuation management, l'call for help and much more besides.
Without giving everything away, this development marks a shift towards more immersive, more interactive... and more collaborative training.
